Blackjack: The point is to get your cards to add up to 21 or close to it. The player who has the closest number to 21 or exactly 21 is the winner, however, if you go over 21 you lose. The dealer deals each player and himself two cards face down, and himself one face down, one face up. Now, you have the option to stay or get another card to make it closer to 21 (hit me). The Jack, Queen and King are all worth 10, the numerical cards are all worth their face value, and the Ace can either be worth 1 or 11. You can stay or hit, and if you get to 21, you have a blackjack.
Roulette: Considered one of the easier games to play in casino’s, Roulette involves a spinning wheel that is marked with numbers from 1-36, as well as 0 and 00 markers. The numbers are alternately colored as black and red and the 0’s are marked in green. There are multiple betting options that you can play depending on the color and number combinations that are offered. Once the ball comes to a stop on the roulette wheel, a marker is placed on the winning number on the table and the winner is paid.
Craps: This is a game involving dice and a game of rounds. The shooter(the one rolling the dice), rolls the dice and everyone bets on that roll. He will continue to roll until he sevens out (rolls a seven at the wrong time). Once he sevens out, the next player becomes the shooter.
Pai Gow: The game starts by the dealer rolling three dice, and this determines who gets dealt the hand first. Players each get 7 cards and must create a high and a low hand. Pai Gow comes from the ancient Chinese game combined with American Poker. It uses a standard 52 card playing deck plus one Joker. You have two playing poker hands, but the joker is used as an Ace or a wild card and can complete a straight or a flush. Hands must be higher than the bank in order to win that round.
